Our History

SKYLEX is a law firm founded by JUDr. Zuzana Skýpalová, attorney-at-law, with the aim of providing high-quality legal services in a professional, substantive and discreet manner. At SKYLEX, we believe that many years of experience, language skills, professional client representation and expert legal advice are what enable us to lend a helping hand to our clients and make their lives easier.

We provide tailor-made, strategic legal solutions. We relieve clients of the burden of legal matters so that they can focus on running their business and, naturally, on their personal lives. Our relationship with clients is based on long-term cooperation and, above all, trust.

JUDr. Zuzana Skýpalová

Zuzana Skýpalová is the founder and an attorney-at-law at SKYLEX Law Firm.

Zuzana founded SKYLEX in 2021, having by that time spent more than ten years providing legal services at prestigious Slovak and international law firms to domestic entrepreneurs and private clients, as well as foreign entrepreneurs and VC and PE funds from London to Beijing.

In her practice, she focuses on transactional legal advice (M&A advisory) and corporate law, real estate and development law (construction, sale, lease, exit), and advice on project financing (company acquisitions, investor entry and expansion, development projects). Her main areas of focus also include intellectual property law (particularly IP law, trademarks and IT law, software development and maintenance) and contract drafting.

Given her extensive experience in M&A advisory and corporate law, Zuzana has advised on a large number of acquisitions and investor entries, helped structure shareholder and partner relationships, and implement tax structures into legal reality. She has many years of experience managing transaction teams in domestic and international acquisitions and the implementation of development projects for both domestic and international clients, which she effectively leverages when advising clients of her own SKYLEX Law Firm.

Zuzana is the owner of SKYLEX and an investor in the project www.contracted.sk a www.contracted.cz, and regularly publishes professional and popular educational articles on legal topics on specialist platforms and social media.

Bc. Lukáš Poláček - Paralegal

He is a law student at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava and works as a Paralegal at SKYLEX Law Firm.

He focuses on legal research and the preparation of legal materials in the field of commercial law, as well as intellectual property law. At SKYLEX, he assists with the preparation of transactional legal documentation, legal due diligence, and trademark searches and applications. He is also involved in the firm's publishing activities, particularly professional articles on the sale and purchase of companies, investor entry and the intergenerational transfer of capital.

Quality is decisive, which is why he approaches his work as aParalegal responsibly, precisely and professionally, paying attention to the quality of his work and the firm's external reputation.

Bc. Mária Baničová - Paralegal

She is a second-year law student at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava. She has worked as a Paralegal at SKYLEX Law Firm since 2025.

Mária focuses on preparing materials for analyses, particularly in the fields of commercial law, litigation and intellectual property law. She assists in preparing materials for legal due diligence reports, transactional legal documentation and corporate documents for changes in companies. She prepares searches for registered signs to assess trademark registrability and prepares trademark applications. At SKYLEX, she is involved in preparing publications as part of the firm's activities, particularly professional articles on PPC advertising and brand bidding, and trademarks.

Alongside her studies, she actively pursues self-education and works on researching and processing court decisions from domestic and foreign courts (particularly the CJEU) for the purposes of applying the firm's legal conclusions and know-how.

Law is the path she has chosen, one that fulfils her and to which she wants to devote herself. As a Paralegal, she works responsibly and with a keen eye for detail, paying attention to the quality of her work as if no senior colleague were going to read it after her.
